Turquoise Patina

Turquoise patina develops naturally rather rare, but when it does, it makes the most beautiful colors and structures. It is a thin oxidized layer that develops on copper surface through a process of putting 5-6 layers of chemical mixtures on raw copper. This is not a paint or any other artificial coating, this patina develops by itself, with a little help of our workshop crew. To stop the process and maintain the color, it is protected – the protection layer is hardly visible, but of great importance.

Please keep in mind that patina develops randomly and it may differ slightly from the colors and structures you see in our photos. Some abrasions, blank spots and bruises may occur, but we believe this kind of imperfections only makes it more unique, custom, uncommon, beautiful and desirable.
